Endure with patience…

We shall surely test your steadfastness with fear and famine, with loss of property, life and produce. Give good news to those who endure with patience; Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return." Such are the people on whom there are blessings and Mercy from Allah; and they are the ones that are rightly guided. [Al Quran, Surah 2, vv155-157]

Narrated Abu Said Al Khudri and Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that." [Sahih Al Bukhari 7.545]

Surely mankind is in loss,
Except those who believe and do good deeds;
Exhort one another to the truth
And exhort one another to patience.
